It all began in 1987 with the Gyrator. The first cap constructed Snowboard that sported a Fibre glass UV resistant top sheet, steel edging and sick lines.

Since then K2 has led the Snowboard manufacturing innovation game. Hybrid boards that embrace laminate and torsion box techniques hit the ground in the '90s.

Not only has K2 been constantly pushing the boundaries of Snowboard construction, they have been a strong supporter of riders since the start. Internation riders such as Nye Donnelly, Dobis, Riggins, Perata, Merriman, Legaz and last but not least, Farmer.
